Black Legacy Partners and NAACP Hempstead Branch Announce Return of Long Island’s Largest Juneteenth Cultural Festival
Festival to Feature Father’s Day Weekend Marketplace Highlighting Black-Owned Brands, Gifts, and Experiences for Dads

Hicksville, NY – [April 6, 2026] – Black Legacy Partners and the NAACP Hempstead Branch announce the return of Long Island’s Annual Juneteenth Cultural Festival, taking place Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 12 PM to 6 PM at the Hicksville LIRR outdoor grounds.

Recognized as Long Island’s largest Juneteenth celebration, the festival brings together culture, community, and small businesses —serving as a major platform for Black entrepreneurship, small businesses, and creative talent.

This year’s event highlights a unified effort between Black Legacy Partners and the NAACP Hempstead Branch to strengthen communities through economic empowerment and cultural visibility. At a time when issues of equity and freedom remain at the forefront nationwide, the festival creates intentional space to support, invest in, and celebrate Black-owned businesses and community leadership.

In recognition of Father’s Day weekend, the festival will also feature a curated marketplace designed for families to shop and celebrate fathers, with a focus on products and experiences that resonate with men. Attendees can expect a dynamic selection of vendors offering grooming products, streetwear, accessories, and unique gifts, creating an intentional retail experience that supports small businesses while honoring Black fatherhood and family.

The free, family-friendly and community-wide event will feature live entertainment, cultural programming, local Black-owned vendors, food, wellness experiences, and community resources—drawing thousands from across Long Island and beyond.
Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in 1865 and continues to serve as both a celebration of freedom and a call to action. The Long Island Juneteenth Cultural Festival builds on that legacy by advancing opportunity, connection, and long-term economic growth within the community.
