February is Black History Month (BHM), a time to celebrate and honor the over 400-year-old legacy of Black culture. An opportunity to engage, inform, inspire, and empower everyone through experiences and programming. An opportunity to engage in provocative discussions with the changemakers, trailblazers and disruptors that champion a culture of advancement and an inclusive community.

It takes bold changemakers to make an impact in communities. Knowing this, Black Legacy Partners and TD Bank have teamed up with local organizations, groups and corporations to shine a light on Black changemakers, trailblazers, disruptors, individuals who are driving impact and change in their communities– and inspiring others to do the same during Black History Month.
Through a video presentation, we recognize and honor the unique contributions of Black Changemakers — who are often under-recognized for their significant contributions in their communities, advancing industries, and transforming lives. These leaders navigate change and the inequities of structural racism as they work to develop new solutions, cultivate vital new perspectives — and through their work, advance a positive future for all Black people on Long Island.
